Copies of the hefty compilation album from the Titan Sounds camp have come back into stock, entitled 'The Introduction' this release from 2003 features Rodney P, Skeme, Estelle, The Extremists, Fallacy, Big P, Kulture Kartel & Realism. Unfortunatly since it's release the label have been pretty dormant, Skitz & Mickle are still producing, and Skitz's second long player is due next year, and as far as I'm aware the emcee's are all still active. I did hear a dope Kulture Kartel mixtape last year too, however I don't think it ever got released, will look into that as it was killer. In the meantime grab a slice of Titan Sounds The Introduction if you haven't got it already, some gems on this one for sure, including the now deleted 12" releases...

Look out for a brand new UK Hip Hop DVD due for release around Feb/March '08. Entitled 'F What U Heard' it's the brainchild of upcoming artist and video producer A.M.S (Anonymous), and his partner Karen Fielding (Kae). Between them have a combined experience of well over 15 years in the game, conducting many music projects, with this one of course being very close to their hearts. This what they had to say of the project at hand...
"The purpose of compiling this type of UK Hip Hop DVD is to portray our artists in their true light; showing the fans the people behind the albums and challenging the perceptions of the people who have adverse stereotypical views on UK Hip Hop. We believe this is relevant to the ever changing climate in UK music since there are many cross overs that many people may not be aware of. It appears to be a common trend that some forms of media tend to thrive on misconceptions arisen from stereotypes not true to some serious UK underground artists who have plenty of input to offer all age ranges. That is why we believe this DVD is important since it's true opinions of people in the thick of it. The film aims to highlight the thoughts of some of the most serious UK Hip Hop artists, showing current opinions on a wide variety of subject matter. It will also include exclusive footage of live performances, cyphers, outtakes and a full list of artist contacts"...

A solid release right here with collaborations from M1 of Dead Prez, Kyza, Fallacy, Sean Price outta Boot Camp Click and many others. Dropping vibes on a spiritual, religious and political level alongside their life experiences they really do rep it fully, production is mainly handled by Iron Braydz, with Jnr Sas getting busy too, both come up trumps with some ill grooves for the emcees to handle. Also in stock today is another debut album, Pyrelli has his Vitamin A - A Twist Of Fate released via Judgement Entertainment and All City Music. Again another solid set with Pyrelli letting you know just why he is one of the UK's tightest rhymers, having carved his way through the scene with the crew One, and then onto being Sway's right hand man it's now time for him to get his own rep on, and rep he does. Some simply killer double time business spat over stripped down rhythms, coupled with a slower paced rhyme patterns and back again. In stock nice an early to us courtesy of Chessmonster Entertaiment and Rawdog is the all new solo album from the lyrical kingpin Chester P, From The Ashes. Produced by Louis Slipperz, with a little added help from the Rawdog fam, and extra vocal pressure from Ramson Badbonez, Farma G & Ias, this is one album you need in your life. I don't think we really need to explain too much as to why, just take a listen and hear for yourselves. Blood, sweat & tears, plus a burnt down studio has gone into this release, and now is the time for a solo Chessmonster to rise from the rubble, so to speak. Available exclusively to Suspect Packages two weeks before the official release date, on CD and download formats. No vinyl is available of the album, apart from the recently released limited 12", however there are talks of a possible vinyl EP, but nothing concrete just yet. As some of you are aware we've had them on a pre-order (however some haven't read it's a pre-order and expected them on the doorstep the next day, but that's a different story). Well unfortunately the clan have spent too much of their live show payments on cans of Red Stripe, and forgot they needed to budget for these releases that everyone is waiting for. Having woke them up from their hangover's I can now give you two new dates for these releases, sorry folks. The Syntax 7" will now be with us on the 4th of June, hopefully sooner though, and the Stig 12" on the 18th of June...

'Satisfied' is a 80s power rock double time clanger dealing with the very relevant issue of addiction, please take note that Skeptik has a very dangerous gambling habit, scrabble & marbles being his favourite games to put bet on. Following that we have my favourite of the 3 tracks 'March', an ill collabo with Sway & Kyza, where my good buddy Skeppo provides a hard march break containing a gidangsta triangle & Taskforce-esque oboe sample, or something to that effect. Lastly 'Put 'Em On Ice' is a non-album track, a funkadelic party joint, with a choir of chipmunks on the chorus. Two stand out releases right here... Newcomer M9 and his 'High Fidelity' CD, sitting somewhere between a mix tape and fully blown album showcasing this West London emcee in fine form. Featuring original production from Chemo & Beat Butcha, alongside a few previously released instrumentals, this Terra Firma affiliate and Triple Darkness member rocks some ill wordplay not to be missed. Other featured artists include Skriblah, fellow Triple Darkness and Phalanx Heresay emcee's, and other hungry affiliates. He's defiantly one to watch and this release is a good place to start, don't sleep...
The other banger is Coventry emcee Precha outta the C.O.V. crew, with his solo album produced and overseen by the one like Baby J. So it would seem the rumours that Stig Of The Dump maybe teaming up with a certain Robbie Williams for some recording, are true. Now we've been keeping our lips sealed about this for some time now, however it's been let loose on forums recently, and mentioned last night at a Hip Hop Connection round table discussion by the Stigsta himself, so I feel we can let ya'll know. Now we all know what a loose cannon Mr Williams is so it's anyones guess what's gonna come of a potential team up between the these two parties, let's see heh. Stig has said that 'if' anything does happen it won't effect his global takeover of the Hip Hop scene that's been happening recently, he'll always be a Hip Hop bum like the rest of us... On a serious note though, good on yer Stig, it's about time someone took notice, even if it is Robbie Williams. Just don't start singing yeah, and maybe you can teach Robbie how to rap?... On second thoughts, don't bother. Maybe you could just replace Robbie in Take That instead?. Fu#k all this Hip Hop lark...

Klashnekoff returns with his highly anticipated follow up to 2004's 'The Sagas Of...', a new full length album produced by Nottingham super producer Joe Buhdha on Rodney P's Riddim Killa records, entitled Lionheart : Tussle With The Beast. The album is 17 tracks deep, featuring varied backdrops (mainly in normal tempos) truly showing Mr.Buhdha's versatility in beats, while Lash brings his own mix of conscious reality raps with a little rowdiness thrown in. They have also stepped it up on a collabo level, wiring in big boys Kool G Rap & Capleton to feature on tracks, we all know Lash is capable of creating a monster album, and this album bangs, but hopefully we wont have to wait another 3 years for a follow up. Also vinyl heads will have no need to worry as we will be getting the single LP version in next week...
